Overview
Assists employers in calculating unemployment tax due, and the interest and penalty due if your tax report and/or tax payment is submitted after the due date.

This worksheet is not intended to be used to calculate amounts due for reports with extended due dates or quarterly report periods beyond five years. Please contact your local tax office for assistance.

You will need information from your Employer's Quarterly Report (Form C-3) to use this worksheet.
Tax Due (Item 15) Computation
Enter Item 4 from your Employer's Quarterly Report. This is the tax rate for the reporting period.
Enter Item 14 from your Employer's Quarterly Report. This is the amount of taxable wages paid to each employee during the quarter.
Enter the quarter and year (1st Quarter 2012 = 12012). This is the report period in which you want to perform the calculation.
Interest for Late Payment (Item 16) Computation
Enter the payment date. This is the date in which you will be submitting your payment to the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). The system will default to the current date if left blank.
Penalty for Late Report (Item 17) Computation
Enter the report filing date. This is the date in which you will be submitting your report to the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). The system will default to the current date if left blank.
